Q. What is Professional Document Storage?
Professional Document Storage is a record management company that specializes in off-site storage and retrieval of active and inactive business records, where accuracy, confidentiality and customer service are the key elements. We offer low cost options for clients wishing to store their paper-based documents, files, drawings, plans, test results etc. in an off-site location without any pitfalls.

Q. What is the carton size and its capacity?
The box size is (23" * 13.5" * 15") and it can accomodate 35 - 45 office files and 13 - 14 box files depending on the content in each file.

Q. How secure is your storage facility? Will my documents be safe?
Our building is fully covered for fire and theft. Our shelving was developed for the specific purposes of storing records. Our storage boxes are designed to last! Our premises are regularly cleaned and undergo pest control. Only responsible persons are given the task for storage and retrieval for cartons. At all times the premises are kept locked.

Q. How do I request the return of an item? How long does it take for an item to be returned?
A complete carton can be delivered to the customer within 24 hours or on an emergency basis, within 4 hours of receiving a written request/fax, authorised by select personnel only.

Q. Do I get a backup?
At the time of packing the files, we will make a record inventory of each carton listing the contents of the same, so that you get the detailed report of the contents of each carton enabling you to access any file you desire. We will also give you a computer print out of the record inventory as well as the data on a disk.

Q. What if I need to dispose some of my items?
Destruction of outdated documents complete the system of professional record management. Why pay storage on documents that will never be referenced again or are too confidential to throw away? A "Certificate of Destruction" will be issued to clients as proof of document destruction.
